Getting started
Install NovellaForge, activate your trial or licence, and start your first story.
Install
Download the installer for your computer from the Downloads page. On Windows, run the installer. On macOS, open the disk image and drag NovellaForge to Applications; the Mac apps are signed and notarized by Apple. On Linux, run the AppImage or install the .deb package.
The Windows installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
Activate this computer
The first time you open NovellaForge it asks for a licence. Start the 7-day trial or buy Creator Studio on the website, then choose “Activate this device” in the app. Your browser opens; sign in with your email and approve the code shown in the app. The app unlocks within a few seconds and keeps working offline afterwards.
Start a story
From the home screen choose Create with AI, Write it myself, Import from Ren’Py, or open the sample story to see how things fit together. Stories are saved automatically in a folder on your computer.
